After working in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years now, I have noticed there is a trend of when certain medications are prescribed through out the year. Why is this?

One of the more obvious trends is Allergy medications in March once spring has sprung. Another is Antibiotics being prescribed in January, this is due to colds and flus leading to bacterial infections. But what about anti hypertensive medications, why do they tend to trend more in April, May, and September?

Check out this article I recently found that explains everything you need to know as to why certain medications trend at certain times of the year.
