One thing I have learned from being in the field for the past two weeks is that is it is completely okay to not know everything. Many times, buyers will have specific questions that I was not able to answer… and I feel guilty for not knowing the answer right away. However, when I explain I’m new to the company, and that I am still learning, they are very accepting and willing to help me understand it more.

One concept that I am challenging myself to understand more is 340B. It is a very complex system for hospitals to save money on their pharmaceuticals used for patients. I’m learning more and more everyday, and I’m glad to be working with such kind professionals. Relationships are key, and being upfront and honest helps build trust for future encounters.
