How crazy is it that the last 90 days of 2019 is upon us? Don’t panic! Now is the time to review, reevaluate, and get a plan together. Let’s make the last 90 days of 2019 the BEST!
Now is the time to start thinking and planning for the holiday’s. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are back to back, and if we are not intentional, it will pass us by.
Halloween- What are we dressing up as, what are the children going to be? If you don’t have children, what are your plans? For me and my family, my children are all older so we don’t go trick or treating anymore. This year I have planned a ‘Scary movie night” – my kids will have their friends over and we will have an outdoor scary movie playing with popcorn set up in our backyard.
Thanksgiving- Now would be the time to plan if you are hosting, who you are hosting and even jotting down your menu as you think of what you would like to have. We are a crazy football family so Thanksgiving also means watching football to us! We host my family and my husband’s family. This year I am combining the two when it comes to decorations and food choices. Even planning a little outdoor football fun for the kiddos.
Christmas-It is never too early to start planning for Christmas festivities. Getting the events on your calendar that you really want to attend is the first step! I have found if it doesn’t make it on my calendar, the chances of it happening are slim. You can always adjust later, but if you want to do “Cookies with Santa” write it down! It would also be a good time to start a list of the people you usually buy for. When you write it down, your brain has a better chance of remembering and you might even be out and see something they would like – go ahead and pick it up, mark if off your list!
Health– Eat your veggies, drink your water…START TODAY! Seriously, imagine where you can be in 3 months if you just start today! Going into Christmas feeling healthier. A few guidelines to follow…
1. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water everyday.
2. Workout at least 30 minutes a day, even if that means just doing on a walk. Just move your body.
3. Add a vegetable to every meal you eat.
4. Be consistent
Now, let’s get started and make the last 90 days EPIC!
